Sufiyan Khatri is an artisan hailing from India whose family has been practicing the traditional skill of hand block Ajrakh print for 10 generations. The use of color, layout and pattern give gesture and movement of a landscape to their designs. His interest lies in overcoming these limitations and fostering design collaborations to attract designers from around the world to work with the Ajrakh craft by introducing new color combinations, block designs and patterns suitable to their market needs.
