Sanjar Nazarov from Uzbekistan is an embroiderer who works with motifs and designs of the Lakai tribe, a nomadic tribe of Uzbekistan. Their motifs express the feelings of the women of those times. Sanjar mostly tries to use Lakai designs and motifs nowadays as they are disappearing day by day. The main thing that they are trying through their craft is to become important for their culture and to give the motifs endless life.
