Josnel Bruno from Haiti is an artist who creates bowls and vessels out of recycled steel oil drums. All the work is done by hand with a hammer and chisels. Josnel learned the craft as an apprentice to several older artisans. His work has been sold at the Santa Fe Folk Art Market for 10 years and is sold through The Smithsonian Folk Life Festival Marketplace, as well as other galleries and shops. He has also participated in markets in England and The Dominican Republic.
