Karim Oukid Ouksel is a jewelry maker born in Algeria and now based in Spain. He works on preserving, teaching and promoting the Berber jewelry tradition. He has exhibited his work in several individual and collective exhibitions, i.e. in the Ethnology Museum of Barcelona, in the Pedrera (Barcelona), in different embassies and from 2011 at the Folk Art Market, Santa Fe (USA). Since 2004, he has been teaching Berber Jewellery from Kabylie at Massana School in Barcelona and in other national and international schools.
